Design Philosophy

Aditi’s design philosophy

1. Listen

I help teams to set the baseline on current systemic problems, study market trends, and outline the metrics of success that not only relieve current pain points but lead to building an organization’s competitive edge.

2. Link

Then linking the target state vision with service blueprints and low fidelity prototypes to unify cross-functional teams with common goals ingrained in research insights.

3. Learn

Lastly, empowering my teams to run the learn cycle with set-based designs diverging at first with multiple low-fidelity concepts and then converging into higher fidelity prototypes while making data-informed decisions with usability sessions.

Aditi’s design leadership spans multiple industries

What clients say about working with Aditi

Out of all the designers I’ve worked with, Aditi has been the strongest I’ve seen. She is able to balance thoughtful design with pragmatic deadlines. She is well-organized, tackles challenging problems head on, and effectively navigates complex situations. She methodically stitched together a cohesive user experience across numerous systems and processes. She demonstrated that she could consistently deliver regardless of the situation or obstacles in her way. Aditi helped us reimagine our end-to-end user experiences from the ground up. As strong as a designer as she is, Aditi is also able to go beyond design. She is a skilled leader who thinks beyond the product to the business process change. She repeatedly demonstrated her ability to carefully listen to customers, understand their needs, and craft a solution. It was a pleasure working Aditi and I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for an exceptional designer who delivers results.

Brandon Pezley | Director, Product Management at Walmart

I had the opportunity to work with Aditi at a large retailer delivering a transformational program to re-envision how technology & process can enable people to deliver current state processes 30-40%+ faster. I would wholeheartedly recommend Aditi and welcome the opportunity to work with her again! Aditi ability to quickly understand pain points, envision a solution and bring a concept to life in a new design is truly amazing. Aditi was able to build strong client relationships, provide leadership to a 12+ person team, deliver a multi-million-dollar program on time and on budget. In addition, her efforts delivered business values of a 50 bps increase per modular, increased speed to market by 50%+ vs. previous models, and increased analytic forecast accuracy.

Ethan Bischoff | Managing Director / Senior Tech Consutling Executive

I had the privilege of working with Aditi on one of the most complex and strategically important initiatives within our product portfolio. Through all the complexity and challenge, Aditi was a stabilizing force within the team. She seamlessly balanced strategic leadership with efficient execution, while also building partnerships with a broad set of collaborators. She approached every aspect of the work with empathy, expertise, and curiosity, and I can’t overstate the impact she had on the success of the initiative. She is truly one of the standout design leaders I have had the opportunity to partner with, and I look forward to doing so again.

Paul Baaske | Global Design Director, Accenture Interactive

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Aditi over the last several years in her role with experience design.  Aditi brings wisdom to her work and leverages the types of insights that come from being a lifelong observer of all things and everything. She has an infectious joy of problem solving, a knack for making it look simple and the skills to get everyone aligned with her vision.

Mark Horak | Executive Creative Director, Accenture

Aditi is extremely creative by nature. In my time working with Aditi, I found her contributions to the team very valuable. She can quickly understand the problems we are trying to solve and help the team create solutions but also design it. She is also a great facilitator of workshops, and pushes design thinking/lean UX taking an iterative and collaborative approach!

Selected Case Studies & Process

Explore

I like to begin with stakeholder interviews to define metrics for success. Once established, I recruit relevant research participants. User research may begin as unstructured with discovery interviews or structured if intended to explore an insight further. I use techniques like ethnographic studies, shadowing, benchmarking, stakeholder analysis, persona studies, task analysis, gap analysis and contextual interviews.

Experiment

I analyze insights from the user research and stakeholder discovery sessions. This synthesis helps in defining hypotheses for intended product use. Adapting the agile methodolgy, I take an iterative approach to conceptualize and test ideas in varied fidelities. Moving from paper prototypes to low-fidelity wireframes as we go deeper into solutions. User journeys and behaviors apprise information architecture.

Evaluate

My art direction for the user interface comes from balancing UX psychology principles and brand guidelines. This technique of visual design helps create simple and meaningful experiences. Moving away from tech handoffs, I encourage collaboration by creating design libraries for scaling the product. Once the tech team completes development, I facilitate usability tests to inform upcoming product releases.
